hello everyone! my apologies for not writing for so long… i came back to phoenix, and then promptly left and spent another 5 days in Tucson, AZ with my dear friend Tiffany.
however, i did add a new friend after i came back to Arizona… a friend that will be with me through the next 10 years, (i hope)… and a friend that has just put me in $20,000 more debt.

i must say though, mine looks better since my windows are tinted super black. wheee!! i love it! now i just need to think of an appropriate name for my new friend.
….and now… for the main purpose of this post… is to warn all of you philly people, if you guys ever need to see a dentist at the Penn Dental School, do WHATEVER it takes and DO NOT GO TO DR. BRUNO!!! She may be a really nice woman, but she is by far the worst dentist EVER. all other dentists at Penn are always booked, and she is always free. now i know why. I went to her back in Feb for 2 fillings. First of all, she gave me the shot incorrectly, and i wasn’t numb enough. of course, i didn’t realize this until she starts drilling my teeth and i start screaming and crying. so, 3 more shots later, i’m STILL not numb. she tries drilling again and AGAIN, i end up with tears streaming down my face. finally she says… “you must have nerves that run really deep. i’m going to have to finish this filling without you being numb”. that’s such crap. i’ve never had this problem with any other dentist. so, as i am crying through the whole filling, she keeps looking at the clock because her other patient is here.
long story short.. i leave without saying thank you because i’m so angry and in pain. my 2 teeth hurt more after the fillings than they did before. finally, a month later i call back to tell her that they hurt and she’s like “oh no, that’s just normal!!” again. bull crap. i have other fillings and they don’t hurt. and the last straw? After i came back to phoenix last night, one of my fillings that she did proceeds to chip and start falling out. only SIX WEEKS after i had it done. now my tooth REALLY hurts, and i have to have both fillings re-done by my old dentist.
moral of the story… NEVER EVER go to see DR. BRUNO. she’ll waste your money and put you in pain and cause you more trouble. worst dentist EVER. can’t believe i paid for those 2 fillings.
Aw man. That sounds really really painful.
eew how lame. that sucks.. when i had my root canal, i don’t think the woman knew what she was doing either. 3 shots, and everywhere in my mouth went numb EXCEPT the location of the drilling. it felt like someone was probing me with a sharp needle for hours. i wanted to kick her in the face. maybe u should take up my aunt’s example of hitting your lame dentist with a broom dabbed with dabien.
ugggh. now i’m super nervous to get these two re-filled. i think i’ve been traumatized.
did you contact the school and file a complaint??? i know you won’t benefit from complaining right now, however, the school needs to know. i wonder if they can give you a refund….
